A message from Wailau Ryder:
I started playing music at around 8 yrs old. My mother was a kumu hula for her halau and my dad played guitar, so growing up I was always surrounded by music and hula. I’ve been playing music for over 30 years with many different artists. I’ve played alongside Bruddah Iz, as a founding member of Na Palapalai, Randy Lorenzo, The Lim Family, Raiatea Helm, Amy Gilliom, Napua Greig, Kalani Pe’a, and many more. I’m currently working on a few music projects as a producer/arranger/musician and played on over 100 albums to date. I perform with lots of local artists here in Hawaii till this day.
