Hale Pa’ahao: Preserving Native Hawaiian History
A National Preservation Month Exhibit
Old Lahaina Prison Museum
May 2020

In honor of National Preservation Month and in light of Covid-19 restrictions, LRF is revisiting the Old Lahaina Prison with a virtual tour of the site.
Traditionally, the interpretation of the prison has focused on whaling and sailors. We are taking this moment to also highlight what little is known about the Native Hawaiian prisoners.
