Looking for a summer pasttime to do as a family? Get ready to explore three popular museums on Maui by purchasing a Passport to the Past. Lahaina Restoration Foundation partners with the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum to encourage visitors and residents to visit their museums and learn about Hawaii’s multi-cultural history.

For one low price of $10, the passport booklet offers admission to the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum on Hansen Road in Pu‘unene, Baldwin Home Museum and Wo Hing Museum on Front Street in Lahaina ($14 value). Information and photos depicting each museum are included in the booklet with an area for stamping the date of entry to each place. It also features a directory of other museums to visit on Maui, Molokai and Lana‘i.

A Passport to the Past makes a fun gift for students and history buffs as well as a keepsake souvenir for Maui visitors. The passports are available for purchase at each museum location and expire one year from date of issue. So get out and explore!
