Born and raised in Lahaina, Maui, Jason Kaleonalani Phillips, affectionately known as Kaleo, has been a figure in the Maui music scene for over 30 years.
A graduate of Lahainaluna High School’s class of ’89, and coming from a musical family background, Kaleo has been blessed and fortunate to flourish in music.
He has performed professionally playing with a variety of Hawaiian music artists and touring with bands across the globe. In July 2018, he released his first full solo album with original Hawaiian compositions, written by himself and Devin Kamealoha Forrest.
