2023 Lahaina Poster Contest
Village Galleries, Lahaina Arts Society and Lahaina Restoration Foundation are hosting the 2023 Lahaina Poster Contest and Exhibit! This is the 35th consecutive Lahaina Poster Contest.
The Lahaina Poster, chosen annually, is the official poster for the town of Lahaina, and proceeds from poster sales are used to promote Historic Lahaina Town. The winning image, along with exhibition images, will be chosen by in a juried contest. Renowned local artist George Allan will serve as juror.
The Lahaina Poster Contest Exhibit will be held Friday, November 11th through Friday, December 2nd at Village Gallery. The poster contest winner will be announced at the Exhibit’s opening reception at 5pm on Friday, November 11th. The poster release party and initial artist signing will be on Friday, November 18th from 5 to 8 PM during Friday Night is Art Night at the Village Gallery.

Prizes:
First Prize: $3,000
LAS Best of Show: $1,000
Eligible Participants:
The contest is open to all artists 18 years and older. No geographic restrictions.
Winning artist must be available, on island,
to sign and number every poster.
Poster Criteria:
The contest entry must be a recognizable scene of Lahaina.
Entry Fee:
$25 payable by check or cash
If entry is not accepted, the $25 entry fee will be refunded.
Deadline and drop off of entries:
Wednesday, November 9th from 10 am to 4 pm
Drop-off location:
Village Gallery, 120 Dickenson Street, Lahaina.
