SUMMARY:
Lahaina Restoration Foundation is seeking a full time Program Coordinator. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication, excellent computer skills (word, excel, database), excellent organizational skills and a deep passion for the history and culture of the historic town of Lahaina. The Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the docents in 3 museums, coordinating monthly and annual events, writing press releases and a quarterly newsletter. We are seeking a team player with abundant and creative energy to join our 15 member team. Lahaina Restoration Foundation was established in 1962, and manages six museums, maintains historic sites and open spaces in Lahaina and provides on-going programming in keeping with our mission. 

SALARY:
Full time. $35 - $39,000. Health, Vision, Dental, Vacation, Retirement Plan. Great work environment.

The Program Coordinator works under the Executive Director to implement the programs of the organization.

            Progressive Dinner through Lahaina’s Historic Sites

On-going Programs
            Candle            Lit Tours of the Baldwin Home Museum
            Cultural Activities at the Wo Hing Museum
            Annual Meeting
            Kamehameha Day Parade Float
            Chinese Moon Festival, Chinese New Year at the Wo Hing Museum

Marketing and Promotion
            Quarterly newsletter           
            Merchant blast fax
            Program updates for website
            Monthly PR on Hawaiian Music Series, Monthly Award Program, Wo Hing activities etc

Board Committees
            Assist with History in Front/Back Yard Programs
            Assist with other BOD committees as needed

Administrative Tasks
            Record minutes at Board of Directors meetings.
            Grants management
            Other administrative tasks as assigned
            Volunteer recruitment and management

Museum Staff
            Work with head docent for weekly staff scheduling
            Order merchandise for Wo Hing Museum and Baldwin Home
            Conduct quarterly meeting with docents
